Instead of writing rambling paragraphs, I’m going to list some things you may or may not know about me. If you want to learn about me and you’re incredibly bored…
- Balloons, toasters, cans of biscuits, and anything that causes sudden noise make me nervous. When I was little, I would not play Operation unless the batteries were OUT.
- For the longest time, when I heard James Brown sing “Living in America,” I thought he was saying “Living in a Rented Car.”
- On a high school trip to Little Rock, I met Danny Glover. We spotted him from Baskin Robbins. A swarm of girls surrounded him…effectively shoving us lanky white girls out of the way. He noticed this, and asked them to move because “this girl has been waiting, and ya’ll just pushed ahead of her.” He took my FBLA handbook and signed the back of it, smiling as he handed it back. VERY nice man. His beard stubble was silver.
- The house I live in now is undeniably haunted. People who have stayed here know this to be true. It doesn’t scare me – but I still have to leave the room to wait on the toast to *pop up.*
- I believe 9/11 was an inside job.
- I used to moonlight as a bartender in Little Rock.. also working as a nurse for the in-house agency at Baptist Health.
- Peanut butter breath makes me nauseous.
- I am irrationally afraid of daddy long-legs.
- I cannot stand the smell of most perfumes, and I don’t really care for sweet or fruity scents. “Clean Linen” and “Cotton” are among my favorite. Also – lavender and vanilla = <3
- The smell of rubber is wonderful… I love the way the bicycle aisle smells at Wal-Mart.
- I buy oils from the “Purple People” just outside of town.
- I have a Burnout Revenge addiction.
- I married Michael Jackson when I was in third grade.
- My ears have been pierced for years, but I NEVER wear earrings. I just have a *thing* about it. They feel weird.
- You will never see me wear either a sweater or a turtleneck, for my own weird reasons.
- I have about 30 pairs of shoes – I wear maybe 2 or 3 pairs. Slip-on clogs are my faves. <3
- Catholicism is fascinating to me. I want to go to Mass so badly, but I’m pretty sure my family would disown me. *sigh*
- I sleep, on average, 3 to 4 hours a night. Sometimes I do not sleep at all.
- I miss my opaque blue contacts. They were awesome. I hate my d0o-doo brown eyes – because I got them from my biological father. It’s like seeing his eyes looking back at me in the mirror. {{shudder}}
- I have all 10 seasons of Friends on DVD – and still watch them pretty frequently. I want to live in Monica and Rachel’s apartment!!
